Our journey begins at Plaza Costa del Sol, where we will delve into the fascinating history of Torremolinos and its transformation from a small fishing village into a benchmark for international tourism. From here, we will head to the emblematic Calle San Miguel, the commercial and social heart of the city.

We will continue to Plaza de la Independencia from the restaurant La Gamba Alegre to compare how that eclectic Torremolinos looked during its golden age.

Continuing this journey through time, we will reach Pasaje Begoña, a symbol of freedom and resistance, where a crucial event took place that forever transformed Torremolinos. Considered the “Spanish Stonewall,” this passage represents the fight for diversity and inclusion during a time of great change.

Our route will take us through La Nogalera, a key area in the history of leisure and culture in Torremolinos. As we walk through the center, we will discover the places that marked the musical boom of the 60s and 70s, where renowned bands sought their big break.

We will continue our path through Pueblo Blanco, an unusual oasis amid the municipality’s brutalist and art deco urbanism, a return to the “charming boutique hotel” concept reminiscent of the years before mass tourism.

We will walk to the Torre de Pimentel, the fortification that gave the city its name, and then immerse ourselves in the Andalusian essence of Pueblo Blanco, a charming corner that will transport us to another era.

Afterwards, we will move on to Cuesta del Tajo and the picturesque Calle Bajondillo, which will lead us to the Bajondillo Promenade, where we will recall the golden years of sun and beach tourism. Here, we will also visit the majestic Casa de los Navajas, an architectural gem of neo-Mudejar inspiration.
