Explore the capital with Local Official Guides

We are officially accredited guides by the Junta de Andalucía. We conduct tours in both Spanish and English.

Not included

This Free Tour does not include a guided visit to the Museum of Málaga. If you would like to visit it, you can join our guided tour History & Intrahistories of Málaga.

Our meeting point will be Alameda Principal, next to the statue of the Marqués de Larios. We’ll continue with an excursion through Málaga Park, where we’ll delve into the city’s hidden history until we reach the Málaga Museum, our next stop.

Alongside the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba of Málaga, we’ll continue the tour viewing the Albéniz Cinema, Plaza de la Merced, and the Picasso surroundings. We’ll walk down Calle Granada towards the Church of Santiago.

Afterwards, we’ll observe palaces and buildings from the 18th century before arriving at the Palace of the Counts of Buenavista, home to the Picasso Museum Málaga. Our next stop will be the Cathedral of Málaga, centuries ago an ancient Mosque in Málaga, which we’ll visit panoramically.

Walking through the narrow streets full of military and strategic secrets, we’ll reach Moreno Monroy and Pasaje Chinitas, a journey to the 19th and 20th centuries filled with stories of artists and intellectuals who left their mark and imprint in the gossip spots of the era. We’ll end the free tour in Málaga by walking along Calle Larios and Plaza de la Constitución to admire the stately 18th-century architecture.
